Judgment T-253/24, known as "Picard II" - Pension rights of employees who became civil servants after 2014 or 2004


Pension rights (retirement age / value of annuities).
The SFP-Europa has followed more than 150 "Art. 90.1" and "Art. 90.2" cases and was an "intervening party" before the Court of Justice, which, on 2 July 2025, dismissed Case T-253/24 and joined Cases T-131/24, T-152/24, and T-228/24.

Training


The SFP-Europa does have a training programme, particularly for preparing for competitions disponible on request!
However, we believe that, based on Article 24a of the Staff Regulations (which states: The Union shall facilitate the professional development of civil servants ...), this competence falls more within the remit of DG PERS / Professional Development. We will issue a reminder shortly.
